At the interbank foreign exchange market, the domestic currency traded in a limited range. The local unit opened at 83.66 and attained an early high of 83.65 throughout the first trading session, representing a 5-paise gain from its previous closing value.
According to forex traders, the USD/INR pair is expected to remain range-bound in the near term due to ongoing support from foreign fund inflows and RBI intervention.
